No Racing Today at Sail Melbourne
We didn't race today, the fourth day of the Sail Melbourne regatta. We sat onshore, postponed for a few hours because of storms. At about 3 PM we were sent out to try to get some racing in. We were met with a very unstable 3-8 knot breeze. After a general recall, we were postponed because the breeze shifted about 30 degrees. We sat waiting for the breeze to stabalize, but it soon began to pour and shift further left. A big squall came through with wind in the 20+ knots and the RC quickly sent us in for the day.
Tomorrow is the last day of fleet racing before the medal race on Saturday. The Race Committee will likely try to get three races in tomorrow to catch up from not sailing today.
