Outhaul Measurement

On a piece of sail-tape, I number 1-10 evenly for a measurement system. I always put this right in front of the boom cleat. I put a black mark at what I think is my max ease. That way I can keep track of my outhaul setting, particularly when I'm rounding the leeward mark and need to pull my outhaul back on. Notice the knot used to tie the outhaul bungee to the cleat.
